Each minute, more than 150 million gallons of water form an amazing "wall of water" as they crash to the gorge below. Later, you'll visit a nearby village for an up close look at local life. From here, join a light aircraft transfer over this wetland paradise to your choice of camp deep in the heart of the Okavango Delta. Later, choose from land-based or (if available) water-based game viewing activities. Day 4 Okavango Delta (BLD) One of the highlights of a stay in the Okavango is the excellent bird-viewing. Pels Fishing Owl, reed cormorants, house darters, kingfishers, fish eagles and much more dot the reeds along the water-line. Why not take a mokoro excursion and glide quietly through the water observing wildlife along the way. Day 5 Okavango Delta (BLD) The Okavango Delta represents the extreme contrast of a water-filled world in an otherwise arid desert. With luck, you might spot the water-adapted red lechwe and greater kudo. Of course, predators are around so be on the lookout for leopard and hyena as well.
