Welcome to Zambia! Take some time to freshen up and enjoy lunch after which your hosts will tell you all about the activities available here at Nkwali.

Day 3  Nsefu Camp | Meals: BLD
Your stay in the South Luangwa continues today as you game drive through the park and across the river into the Nsefu Sector and Nsefu Camp. Nsefu Camp was the first camp in Zambia so it's history dates back to the 1950's. Each room has beautiful sweeping views of the Luangwa River.
Nsefu Camp

Day 4 & 5  Nsefu Camp | Meals: BLD Daily
Thanks to the extremely high concentration of wildlife near the river, South Luangwa is considered by many to be one of the finest game parks in the world. It was actually in South Luangwa that walking safaris originated. The park hosts more than 60 animal species and 400 different bird species. With the river a focus, you will surely see a lot of hippo. In fact, it is estimated there could be as many as 50 hippos per kilometre of the Luangwa River! Watch for the Thornicroft's Giraffe, which is unique to the Luangwa Valley. See if you can spot all 14 different antelope species in the park. The Bushbuck might be the hardest, as they prefer the densely covered areas of the park. The Kudu is one of the most beautiful of the species, with its delicate face, big ears and majestic spiral horns which can grow as long as 72 inches.
Nsefu Camp

Day 6  Victoria Falls | Meals: BLD
Our focus moves from the Luangwa Valley today to Victoria Falls as we drive to Mfuwe Airport and take a light aircraft flight to Livingstone. Tongabezi Lodge is our home for the next three nights. The lodge is set in a tranquil grove of ebony on a sweeping bend of the Zambezi River.

Stanley Safari Lodge

Set on a hill bordering the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park and overlooking unspoilt bush, Stanley Safari Lodge is only 3km from the Victoria Falls. The views are splendid: the spray of the Falls in the distance, the mighty Zambezi river and on top of that yet another beautiful African sunset. From either our main garden, our infinity pool or from the privacy of your room, views are unmatched.

The open-sided Main House has been designed with space and views in mind and has a truly African feel. Enjoy sundowners in the African style lounge, a 3 course dinner in the dining room or spend some quiet time in the library or upper deck discovering the secrets of Africa.

Our private table set-up ensures you can enjoy your dinner from any place you desire. Just pick a spot: on our upper deck, in our wine cellar, outdoors under the stars or in our infinity pool? Or maybe you would like to have a romantic private dinner in the room? It's all possible at Stanley Safari Lodge. And our European-style cuisine with an African twist will make sure it will meet your appetite.

The atmosphere at Stanley Safari Lodge is tranquil and intimate, and with only 10 private cottages or suites we are able to give you an unmatched level of entirely personalized service.

Each and every cottage is individually designed. But what makes Stanley Safari Lodge really special is the open design of many of our rooms: the optimal way to experience the real Africa. Just like Stanley must have done centuries ago...And if you really want to indulge yourself, ask for one of our suites with private plunge pool.

Day 7 & 8  Victoria Falls | Meals: BLD Daily
There is no schedule at Tongabezi - the day is yours to plan and do as much or as little as you like. If you decide to be active, there is much to choose from. You might want to go canoeing on the Zambezi, take a guided bush walk or why not try your hand at local fishing. Of course you must visit famous Victoria Falls.
