Day 1  Thu or Sun Arrive Victoria Falls
Welcome to Victoria Falls! Your transfer will be waiting at the airport to take you to your lodge bordering the Zambezi National Park and just four kilometers from stunning Victoria Falls. The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax.
Day 2  Fri or Mon Victoria Falls (BD)
Relax and enjoy the surroundings today. Later this afternoon, freshen up before a sundowner cruise along the Zambezi River. Later this evening, enjoy a special dinner in the Boma - a unique African experience that bombards the senses with the tastes, sights, sounds and smells of Africa - together with the warmth and hospitality of Zimbabwe and its people.
Tonight, you can sample a variety of traditional Zimbabwean dishes, fish, a variety of game meat and potjiekos (hunter's stew) - as well as vegetarian meals. Will you try the local delicacies like deep fried kapenta and groundnuts?

Day 3  Sat or Tue Victoria Falls (BD)
A highlight of the day is a visit to mighty Victoria Falls. Explorer David Livingstone was led to the Falls in 1854 by the Makokolo who named them Mosi Oa Tunya - “the smoke that thunders.” The Falls are over 5500 feet across and more than 300 feet high. Be prepared to get wet, as the spray of over 150 million gallons of water per minute crashing to the gorge below creates a spray that can be seen from more than 18 miles away! Then, continue to a local village for a fascinating look at local life, unchanged for generations. Later, enjoy dinner at the award-winning MaKuwa-Kuwa Restaurant at the lodge.
Day 4  Sun or Wed Victoria Falls-Nairobi (B)
Fly to Nairobi today, where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The afternoon is at leisure.
Day 5  Mon or Thu Nairobi (B)
After a leisurely morning, head out to Karen to visit the Karen Blixen Museum. Fans of the book (and movie) Out of Africa will see Karen Blixen's words come to life as you walk through her former home and through the grounds set beneath the Ngong Hills. Then it is off to the Giraffe Center for some fun with the Rothchilds giraffes.
Day 6  Tue or Fri Nairobi-Shaba National Reserve (BLD)
Leave Nairobi early this morning, heading north to Naro Moru where you stop for lunch. Cross the equator and continue into Shaba National Reserve, game viewing enroute.
Day 7  Wed or Sat Shaba National Reserve (BLD)
In the late 1970’s, Joy Adamson (“Born Free”) experimented with rehabilitating leopards to the wild here in Shaba. More than 280 species of birds have been recorded in Shaba and game viewing may reveal large herds of elephant, as well as gerenuk, waterbuck and oryx.
Day 8  Thu or Sun Shaba-Lake Nakuru (BLD)
Early this morning head to the Rift Valley. Stop first at picturesque Nyahururu Falls before arriving in Lake Nakuru in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive. As you drive through Lake Nakuru National Park, watch the tree tops for the playful colubus monkey.
Day 9  Fri or Mon Lake Nakuru-Masai Mara (BLD)
Your drive this morning takes you first to a Maasai village where you have the opportunity to meet members of this fascinating tribe. Then, continue into Kenya’s most famous reserve, the Masai Mara. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive.
Day 10  Sat or Tue Masai Mara (BLD)
The Masai Mara is home to all of the Big Five as well as a wide variety of plains game and birdlife. Keep your game list handy as you are likely to spot zebra, giraffe, buffalo, hyena, and, if lucky, lion, leopard and cheetah.
Day 11  Sun or Wed Masai Mara-Depart (BD)
After breakfast, return to Nairobi where the afternoon is at leisure. You'll have time to freshen up in our partner Club Lounge before dinner and a transfer to the airport.
