Later this afternoon, freshen up before a sundowner cruise along the Zambezi River. Will you try the local delicacies like deep fried kapenta and groundnuts? Day 3 Sat or Tue Victoria Falls (BD) A highlight of the day is a visit to mighty Victoria Falls. Explorer David Livingstone was led to the Falls in 1854 by the Makokolo who named them Mosi Oa Tunya - “the smoke that thunders.” The Falls are over 5500 feet across and more than 300 feet high. Be prepared to get wet, as the spray of over 150 million gallons of water per minute crashing to the gorge below creates a spray that can be seen from more than 18 miles away! Then, continue to a local village for a fascinating look at local life, unchanged for generations. Later, enjoy dinner at the award-winning MaKuwa-Kuwa Restaurant at the lodge. Day 4 Sun or Wed Victoria Falls-Nairobi (B) Fly to Nairobi today, where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The afternoon is at leisure.
