Day 1  Arrive Arusha
Welcome to Tanzania! On arrival today, you will be met and transferred to the Arusha Coffee Lodge, where the remainder of the evening is at leisure.

Day 2  Arusha-Lake Manyara | Meals: BLD
Join your private driver-guide this morning and drive out of Arusha, passing through the Maasi Steppe filled with many picturesque African villages along with maize, coffee and banana plantations. Arrive at your camp, in time for lunch and a leisurely afternoon.

Lake Manyara Kilimamoja Lodge



Nested on the rim of the great Rift Valley, with stunnig views over Lake Manyara, Mount Meru and on a clear day, Mount Kilimanjaro. The lodge is set on pristine lush green gardens and local vegetation with over 130 species of bird.

Lake Manyara Kilimanjaro Lodge is the ideal place in which to base your northern safari experience. The Ngorongoro Crater, Oldeani, Lake Eyasi, Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Highlands is just a short drive from the lodge.

Sitting around the ouside fireplace watching the sun setting over the Great Rift Valley and listening to the humming of the birds the background is a fitting way to end the day, and preparing you for your sumptuous dinner feast.

All 50 suites and 2 bedroom luxury villas have panoramic views of the surrounding area. All rooms are tastefully decorated with all the amenities one would expect in a 5 star lodge, inclusive of inside and outside shower, bath, air-conditioning, fire places, Wi-Fi, mini bar, safe and private balcony.

Day 3  Lake Manyara-Serengeti | Meals: BLD
Enjoy a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. Thanks to the wide variety of habitats found inside Lake Manyara National Park, game is plentiful. Be on the lookout for the graceful impala, the mischievous baboon and much more. Have lunch at the lodge before leaving Lake Manyara behind and driving to the Serengeti. Your journey takes you across the stunning hilly countryside of the highlands and then to the vast plains of the Serengeti, arriving at your tented camp later this afternoon.

Ole Serai Luxury Camp



The new luxury camp, Ole Serai, is ideally located within Central Seronera area of the famous Serengeti National Park in Tanzania around the vicinity of the famous Moru Kopjes and Lake Magadi. The Camp site is perched between the Rongai Hills & Nyaroboro Hills, a few metres away from the banks of the Mbalageti / Seronera River having an abundant variety of resident wildlife (including all the Big 5) as well as a Hippo Pool located only a few metres away from the camp.

The Rooms and the Guest areas have been specifically designed to offer the Guests an optimum 180-degree view while on their bed or while enjoying their meal or drinks and to bring them as close to nature as possible from the covered verandas. These stunning views embrace the sparsely spaced Acacia Tortillis Trees with the abundance of animals in the vicinity making the experience awe-inspiring.

Day 4 & 5  Serengeti | Meals: BLD
Two full days of game viewing should be amazing. The Serengeti is famous for the big cats. Thanks to the large food supply provided by the plains game, the big cats are found in large numbers. Cheetahs love the kopjes as they provide excellent vantage points for spotting prey. If you are lucky you might spot the fringe-eared oryx or the shy klipspringer. Watch the rocks for the rock hyrax...the closest relative to the elephant!

Ole Serai Luxury Camp



The new luxury camp, Ole Serai, is ideally located within Central Seronera area of the famous Serengeti National Park in Tanzania around the vicinity of the famous Moru Kopjes and Lake Magadi. Day 6  Serengeti-Ngorongoro | Meals: BLD
After breakfast, game drive your way out of the park towards the Ngorongoro. Your drive takes you along the rim of the crater before you descend to your lodge located in Karatu. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

A 5-star colonial lodge situated on a picturesque hill with spectacular views onto Oldeani Mountain and the Ngorongoro Crater Rim. The lodge is elevated with 360 degree views that extend all the way to Lake Eyasi and Lake Manyara. The property is set on 40 acres of pristine lush gree gardens and local vegetation with over 130 species of birds.

The lodge is accessed over a pond and one's first impression is the grand central hallway with wooden trusses looking out over the fire place, infinity pool and out onto the Mount Oldeani, which is part of the caldera of the word famous Ngorongoro crater, only 12Kms away!

It's an exciting day, as you spend it on the crater floor. Taking a picnic lunch, descend through the early morning mists 2,000 feet to the crater floor. The crater floor is comprised of several distinct area, including swamps and forests as well as open grassland and lakes. Game viewing might reveal rhino, leopard, lion and much more.

Day 8  Ngorongoro-Tarangire | Meals: BLD
Leave Ngorongoro after breakfast and head east through the highlights, past wheat plains and coffee plantations. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive in Tarangire National Park. You'll spend time near the Tarangire River, which attracts a wide array of wildlife coming to quench their thirst.

Tarangire Sopa Lodge



Built to blend in with the vastness of its surroundings, Tarangire Sopa Lodge lies hidden among the kopjes, ancient baobab and grasses of the Tarangire National Park - home to the greatest concentration of elephants in Africa. Many can be seen around the lodge, allowing visitors a close encounter.

Built on different levels, the main public area building offers an extremely cool respite from the outdoor heat as soon as you step into the reception.

With a perfumed towel and a chilled welcome drink in hand, you suddenly become aware of the sheer size of the lobby with its glistening marble floors, colourful hand-woven carpets, and an incredibly high roof. From here a short flight of steps takes you up a level and into the lounge and bar with floor to ceiling windows, an outdoor terrace where you can enjoy an evening sundowner and, later perhaps, a game of pool in the area behind the bar.

While our circular guest suites with their high, conical roofs fan out to either side of the public areas, it is worth mentioning a word of caution here. Because the lodge is not fenced in any way, wild animals are at liberty to come and go as they please and transits to your room and back might be - but rarely - delayed by an elephant or two. This is the only reason our guards will insist on taking you to and fro at night.

Once inside the coolness of your room, you will be delighted at its space and airiness, and also the views from its sheltered veranda. With its mini-bar, two double beds and an extremely spacious, well appointed bathroom, you can only wish that you were staying an extra night.
