| Welcome to the "fairest cape of all" - Cape Town. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your luxury hotel nestled in the Constantia Valley, just 20 minutes from the center of Cape Town. This intimate hotel was originally the home of Catherina Ustings who came to Cape Town from Germany in 1662. She originally named the farm Swaaneweide, "feeding place of Swans". The buildings were lovingly restored and have been declared a National Monument. This afternoon, enjoy walking the grounds of Cape Town's oldest wine farm. | | Steenberg Country Hotel | | | | Day 3 Cape Town | BL |
| Your private tour of the Cape Peninsula begins as you drive out of Cape Town and stop at the fishing harbor of Hout Bay. Continuing along Chapman's Peak Drive, you'll have breathtaking views of the shining bay and the wide beaches that dot the shore. Stop at the Cape Point Nature Reserve, a 19,000 acre reserve that boasts an incredible diversity of flora specimens, including the indigenous fynbos. You might also spot bontebok, cape mountain zebra, cape grysbok, cape fox and caracal. Continue on to Cape Point for a funicular ride to the lookout point. See if you can spot the phantom Flying Dutchman, whose ill-fated captain swore to round the point even if it took forever! After stopping for lunch, you'll visit the colony of jackass penguins at Boulders Beach before heading to the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens to explore one of the world's leading botanical gardens. Return to your hotel late this afternoon. | | Steenberg Country Hotel | | | | Day 4 Cape Town | BL |
| Today's excursion takes us to the Southern Seaboard and world-famous Hermanus, known best for its spectacular whale-watching season. The drive takes you through the seaside towns of the Strand and Gordon's Bay and along the spectacular Marine Drive. Between July and November, you often see the Southern Right Whales as they make their way towards Hermanus to mate and calve. If you like, you can stop to visit the Harold Porter Botanical Gardens, famous for its beautiful Red Disa. Continue over the Bot River to the village of Hermanus where you might stop at one of the wine estates. After a delightful seafood lunch (and during season, some whale watching), return to Cape Town via the Hottentot Hollands Mountains. | | Steenberg Country Hotel | | | | Day 5 Cape Town | B |
