Land of Giants
10 days · from $6,895
Elephant lovers - this safari is for you! Chobe National Park and Hwange National Park are well known for their large elephant herds and combine wonderfully with Victoria Falls in this 10 day safari.
But, there is much more to Chobe and Hwange than their large herds of elephants. In Chobe, game viewing by boat gives you an entirely different perspective of game as you watch them as they come to the river for a drink. Bird live is simple stunning - with hundreds of species found both near the water and on land. If you are not a "twitcher" before you arrive, you will surely leave with a new appreciation for bird-viewing. Hwange National Park is host to a myriad of game - a wide array of plains game along with the Big Cats. At the Hide, game viewing is your prime focus - weather by vehicle, by foot or patiently waiting for game as you watch from the enclosed hide.
These two amazing parks are joined together with 2 nights in Victoria Falls. As you stand at a lookout out post, with the thundering crescendo of the water crashing into the gorge below and the spray rising up into the air - you will understand how the Falls are called "The Smoke that Thunders."
This safari can be easily customized with your favorite lodges. Why not extend your stay into the Okavango Delta or into Zambia and the South Luangwa. Options are endless.
