Day 7 - 9  27-29 SEP 2016 Serengeti Explorer Camp | Meals: BLD
Game viewing here is extraordinary and with luck, you will be surrounded by wildebeest and zebra, along with a host of other plains game.

Wildebeest are well suited for this long and arduous journey. They have a flap in their nostrils that block out the dust kicked up from those in front and beside them. If threatened, they can gallop at speeds up to 40 mph in short bursts. Their young learn how to stand and walk within just 4 minutes of being born. On average, they cover about 6 miles per day.
