Arrive in Cape Town this afternoon where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Day 2 Cape Town (B) There are so many things to see and do in Cape Town. A full day excursion is included today - the selection is up to you. Perhaps a full day in the Winelands or a full day out to Cape Point? Or, focus on the history of South Africa with a fascinating cultural tour, including visits to Robben Island and District Six. Day 3 Cape Town (B) Enjoy a day at leisure to explore the shops along the waterfront or perhaps take an optional tour of the winelands. Day 4 Cape Town-Victoria Falls (BD) Fly to Johannesburg early this morning, where you connect to the flight bound for Victoria Falls. Later, enjoy a sundowner cruise along the Zambezi. Day 5 Victoria Falls (BD) This morning, enjoy a tour of the Falls, followed by a visit to a traditional village where you have the opportunity to see a way of life that has remained virtually unchanged during the last hundred years. Later this evening, fun awaits at the Boma Restaurant as you sample local dishes -- and perhaps try your hand at drumming as well. Day 6 Victoria Falls-Johannesburg (B) The morning is at leisure before flying to Johannesburg. Your hotel is conveniently located just across from the main terminal at the airport. Peermont Mondior Day 7 Johannesburg-Nairobi (B) Fly to Nairobi this morning, where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Nairobi Hilton Day 8 Nairobi-Masai Mara (BLD) Transfer to the airport for the short light aircraft flight to the Masai Mara. Here, lodge/camp vehicles will meet and transfer you to the camp. After lunch, enjoy your first game drive in the park. Day 9 Masai Mara (BLD) Rise early this morning for a game drive before breakfast. Return to the lodge for time at leisure before heading out on an afternoon game drive. Among the variety of wildlife you might see are lion, cheetah, hippo, giraffe, gazelle, elephant and a host of birdlife. Look carefully for the Lilac Breasted Roller, one of the prettiest birds in Kenya. Day 10 Masai Mara-Nairobi (B) After breakfast, depart on the morning flight back to Nairobi, where the afternoon is at leisure. Nairobi Hilton Day 11 Nairobi-Serengeti (BLD) Fly to Arusha this morning and connect to the light aircraft flight to Tanzania's most famous game park, the Serengeti. Camp/Lodge vehicles will be on hand at the airstrip to transfer you to your camp/lodge. Enjoy lunch and then a thrilling afternoong game drive in the Serengeti. Day 12 Serengeti (BLD) Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives today. Keep your game list handy, as you are almost certain to see the Big Five. The Big Five got their name not because of their size, but because they were the most difficult of Africa's wildlife to hunt. Can you name them? Elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard and rhino. Day 13 Serengeti-Depart (B) A light aircraft flight takes you back to Arusha where day rooms are available to freshen up and relax before your transfer to the airport this evening to begin your journey home.
