Escape to the heart of Botswana on this thrilling week featuring the Okavango Delta and Savute.

From the Okavango Delta to the Savute region, the wildlife of Botswana explodes at every turn. At Eagle Island Lodge, enjoy the different perspective of game viewing by water (dependant on water levels.) The excitment of game viewing by land is complemented by the serene scene of gliding silently in the crystal clear water of the channels that wind their way though these national reserves. From morning to evening, the scenes are always changing, evolving and creating memories captured by your camera, your mind and your heart.

In addition to exciting game drives, Savute is a bird-lovers' paradise, particularly in the summer (December to March.) More than 250 species have been recorded, ranging from vast flocks of gregarious queleas to giant kori bustards and an array of majestic raptors.

You also have the opportunity to travel into the bush and view the ancient bushmen paintings and baobab trees. The paintings by the bushmen are thought to be more than 1,500 years old and depict images of elephant, giraffe, sable and more. You will be mesmerized by the amazing baobab grove with it's 13 giant trees that rival the Bushmen's paintings in age.

Created with flexibility in mind, you can depart on this journey any day of the week. If you have time, why not extend to Victoria Falls or Cape Town?
