Arrive in San Jos�, the capital of Costa Rica set in the heart of the Meseta Central. You will be met and transferred to your hotel where the remainder of the day is at leisure
Day 2 San Jos�-Sarapiqu� River | Meals: BL
Mid-morning, a road transfer takes you to Sarapiqui, which serves as a biological corridor to the Braulio Carrillo National Park. Later this afternoon, a boat trip along the river takes you through the tropical rain forest. After lunch at a local hacienda, return to your hotel.
Day 3 Sarapiqu� | Meals: B
This morning, a walk in La Selva Biological Reserve provides a glimpse of over 100 species of mammals, 400 species of birds and 2,000 plant species. Later, visit the Corsicana Pineapple Farm, the first company to cultivate certified organic golden pineapples.
Day 4 Sarapiqu�-Arenal | Meals: BD
Mid-morning, drive to Arenal Volcano, one of Costa Rica's most dramatic sites. It towers at 5,389 feet and is almost a perfect cone. Later this afternoon, tour the volcano and nearby Hot Springs.

Enjoy the day at leisure or perhaps add an optional activity.
Day 6 Arenal-Bajos del Toro Cloud Forest | Meals: BLD
A road transfer takes you to Bajos del Toro Cloud Forest, near Po�s Volcano. The remainder of the day is at leisure.
Day 7 Bajos del Toro Cloud Forest | Meals: BLD
The day is at leisure to explore the winding trails through the cloud forest and discover the myriad of plants, birds and flowers.
Day 8 San Jos�-Depart
Transfer back to San Jose and depart for home.
