Spend the next week exploring Cape Town. On Tuesday, we'll provide a full day tour to the Cape Pointe. See for yourself how this spectacular southern tip of Africa became known as the "Fairest Cape". Drive along the Atlantic seaboard past Camps Bay, Clifton and Llandudno, referred to as "Millionaires Paradise". Visit Hout Bay and its harbour where there is time to take an optional Seal Island Cruise. Continue along Chapmans Peak to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and its scenic viewing point. Stop at Boulders Beach to see the African penguins, and then travel through the naval port of Simon's Town. Simon's Town is situated on False Bay and is rich in history, character and atmosphere. Return later this afternoon to your hotel.
On Thursday, we spend the day in the winelands. You don't need to be a wine connoisseur to take pleasure in spending a day meandering around the Cape Winelands, sampling wines that are among the finest in the world. Your full day excursion takes in the tranquillity and beauty of Paarl, Franschhoek and Stellenbosch in the Cape Winelands.
