Silverback Lodge

Silverback Lodge, located in the Buhoma sector of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in western Uganda, is only a 5 minute walk to the national park and has sweeping views of the valley and forests that surround it.

The lodge has sweeping views of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - a 124-square-mile UNESCO site home to approximately 350 mountain gorillas (half of the world's remaining population), non-habituated chimpanzees, more than 100 other species of mammals, 346 species of birds, and 163 species of trees.

Each room was built and designed using local materials, such as forest vines, sisal rope and purple slate stone. Each room has an en-suite bathroom (with hot water showers) and comfortable chairs on the veranda for viewing the flora and fauna that make up the surroundings in the valley.

Mantana Tented Camp is a splendid luxury facility found within Lake Mburo National Park.

It has 9 tents constructed on wooden platforms to offer a spectacular view of the delights of Lake Mburo. The tents are built on an man made verandah elevated on wooden platforms. These tents are fitted with inside showers having hot and cold water, bathrooms and flush toilets. Every tent has 2 beds plus a mosquito net. There is solar power with which you can charge your phones or batteries. Enjoy the beautiful views of Lake Mburo from your private verandah. Kasenyi Safari Camp is strategically located on the rim of lake Bunyampaka in the Kasenyi savannah of Queen Elizabeth National Park. The camp has an elevated dining structure that is meticulously thatched. The tents are on platforms with a thatched canopy roof. Located on the south bank of the Nile, the lodge takes advantage of the cool breezes from the river and has spectacular views. The site has a good number of shady trees and is home to a large array of birdlife. As with all our other camps, Baker�s is eco-friendly using the most up to date technology available for solar power and efficient management of resources. Local materials have been used wherever possible to build the lodge, and it has a feeling of �Africa of olde� � that of the explorers era, when Mr Samuel Baker first came to this region. We recommend a stay of between two to four nights at the lodge as there is a lot to see and do in the area. With the varied eco-system the animal and bird life is prolific, including nearby chimpanzee trekking in the Budongo Forest.

Silverback Lodge, located in the Buhoma sector of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in western Uganda, is only a 5 minute walk to the national park and has sweeping views of the valley and forests that surround it.

The lodge has sweeping views of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - a 124-square-mile UNESCO site home to approximately 350 mountain gorillas (half of the world's remaining population), non-habituated chimpanzees, more than 100 other species of mammals, 346 species of birds, and 163 species of trees.

Each room was built and designed using local materials, such as forest vines, sisal rope and purple slate stone. Each room has an en-suite bathroom (with hot water showers) and comfortable chairs on the veranda for viewing the flora and fauna that make up the surroundings in the valley.

Mantana Tented Camp is a splendid luxury facility found within Lake Mburo National Park.

It has 9 tents constructed on wooden platforms to offer a spectacular view of the delights of Lake Mburo. The tents are built on an man made verandah elevated on wooden platforms. These tents are fitted with inside showers having hot and cold water, bathrooms and flush toilets. Every tent has 2 beds plus a mosquito net. There is solar power with which you can charge your phones or batteries. Enjoy the beautiful views of Lake Mburo from your private verandah. It is fitted with a private timber decked balcony with comfortable loungers so that you may enjoy uninterrupted view of the tropical sun rays bouncing off the glistening surface of the majestic River Nile. The bathroom has a wash basin, enclosed toilet and bath tub.

Kasenyi Safari Camp is strategically located on the rim of lake Bunyampaka in the Kasenyi savannah of Queen Elizabeth National Park. The camp has an elevated dining structure that is meticulously thatched. The tents are on platforms with a thatched canopy roof.
