Day 1  ARRIVE KILIMANJARO-ARUSHA
Welcome to Tanzania! After your friendly greeting at the airport, continue to your Arusha hotel where the evening is at leisure.

Gran Melia Arusha



Gran Melia Arusha is an oasis within Arusha set out on 18 acres of beautiful landscaped coffee and tea plantations offering pure tranquility with spectacular views of Mount Meru. The rooms provide spectacular views over Mount Meru or Arusha City. All the bedrooms have been designed to capture the diversity and energy of local Tanzanian tribes and the rich colours of the coffee plantations. Day 2  ARUSHA-LAKE MANYARA | Meals: BLD
After breakfast, depart in your private vehicle to Lake Manyara. Spectacular views greet you in Lake Manyara, with stunning scenes of the Great Rift Vally rising up from the Lake. Enjoy lunch before an afternoon game drive. Before you enter the park, take the exciting 370 meter Treetop Walk through the canopy of trees. Walking over a series of suspension bridges, the walk reaches a height of 18 meters, providing an amazing perspective of the forest. The walk takes about an hour. Continue into the park for your game drive.Lake Manyara was once a popular hunting area and is also home to the tree-climbing lion! Bird lovers, also known as "twitchers" will love the more than 400 species of birds found here, including the red-billed oxpecker, white-crowned plover and African spoonbill - to name just a few.

Lake Manyara Kilimamoja Lodge



Nested on the rim of the great Rift Valley, with stunnig views over Lake Manyara, Mount Meru and on a clear day, Mount Kilimanjaro. The lodge is set on pristine lush green gardens and local vegetation with over 130 species of bird.

Lake Manyara Kilimanjaro Lodge is the ideal place in which to base your northern safari experience. The Ngorongoro Crater, Oldeani, Lake Eyasi, Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Highlands is just a short drive from the lodge.

Sitting around the ouside fireplace watching the sun setting over the Great Rift Valley and listening to the humming of the birds the background is a fitting way to end the day, and preparing you for your sumptuous dinner feast.

All 50 suites and 2 bedroom luxury villas have panoramic views of the surrounding area. Day 3  LAKE MANYARA-SERENGETI | Meals: BLD
Amazing game viewing awaits as you cross the plains on your drive into Tanzania's most famous park, the Serengeti. Serengeti is derived from the Masai word "siringi" which means endless plains, and as you venture out on this afternoon's game drive, you will see why it's name is so appropriate.

Ole Serai Luxury Camp



The new luxury camp, Ole Serai, is ideally located within Central Seronera area of the famous Serengeti National Park in Tanzania around the vicinity of the famous Moru Kopjes and Lake Magadi. The Camp site is perched between the Rongai Hills & Nyaroboro Hills, a few metres away from the banks of the Mbalageti / Seronera River having an abundant variety of resident wildlife (including all the Big 5) as well as a Hippo Pool located only a few metres away from the camp.

The Rooms and the Guest areas have been specifically designed to offer the Guests an optimum 180-degree view while on their bed or while enjoying their meal or drinks and to bring them as close to nature as possible from the covered verandas. These stunning views embrace the sparsely spaced Acacia Tortillis Trees with the abundance of animals in the vicinity making the experience awe-inspiring.

Day 4 & 5  SERENGETI | Meals: BLD
Your game drives in the Serengeti over these two days should be nothing short of fantastic. You will find some of the highest concentration of game in the Serengeti. Thanks to the large food supply provided by the plains game, the big cats are found in large numbers. Cheetahs love the kopjes as they provide excellent vantage points for spotting prey. If you are lucky you might spot the fringe-eared oryx or the shy klipspringer. Watch the rocks for the rock hyrax...the closest relative to the elephant! Bird lovers will be busy checking off species from their list. Look for the Ruppell's longtailed starling, Griffon vulture, kori bustard, ostrich and the colorful lilac-breasted roller - to name just a few.

Ole Serai Luxury Camp

Day 6  SERENGETI-NGORONGORO | Meals: BLD
Game drive your way out of the Serengeti. Stop at Olduvai Gorge to view the site of the famous discovery by the Leakey family, arriving at your lodge in time for a late lunch and a leisurely afternoon.

Ngorongoro Oldeani Lodge



A 5-star colonial lodge situated on a picturesque hill with spectacular views onto Oldeani Mountain and the Ngorongoro Crater Rim. The lodge is elevated with 360 degree views that extend all the way to Lake Eyasi and Lake Manyara. The property is set on 40 acres of pristine lush gree gardens and local vegetation with over 130 species of birds.

Descend to the crater floor this afternoon for a full day of game viewing. With a space of only 102 square miles and a resident wildlife population of more than 30,000 mammals, there is a great chance that you might see all of the big five.

Day 8  NGORONGORO-TARANGIRE | Meals: BLD
Drive to Tarangire today. Thanks to the Tarangire River (which runs through the park), Tarangire is a haven for wildlife and you might find high concentrations of plains game like Thomson's gazelle, buffalo, eland, hartebeest, impala, waterbuck and much more.

Tarangire Kuru Treetops Lodge



Indulge in lavish luxury at the Tarangire Kuro Treetops Lodge, which is nestled deep within the heart of the National Park. The Lodge is strategically located atop an elevated Kopje hill, overlooking the Tarangire River and the Silale valley leading to the Silale swamp in the west - which is famous for being visited by different wildlife throughout the year due to the availability of water.

This uniquely designed Lodge consists of 25 luxury tents perched along the Baobab tree line. Each tent is designed with luxury beddings, en-suite bathroom with an indoor and outdoor shower and a private veranda with the perfect vantage point. Day 9  TARANGIRE | Meals: BLD
Tarangire National Park is just about 1,000 square miles and much of the landscape is dotted with enormous baobab trees.Thanks to the plentiful supply of food, predators like lion, leopard and cheetah are well represented in Tarangire. More than 300 species of birds have been recorded in Tarangire, so keep your eyes peeled for the bateleur eagle, ground hornbill and abundant species of bee-eaters and rollers on your morning and afternoon game drives today.

Tarangire Kuru Treetops Lodge
